On November 29th The New Museum hosted a penthouse party to launch a project that I’ve been working on for months with my dear friend, Jaime Hayon. It’s call the GUEST. Jaime asked myself and Devilrobots to work up our own variations on his design. The process was complex and inspiring and I’m thrilled with the results! The large versions are about 20 inches tall and limited to 250 pieces. The smaller ones are about 11 inches tall and produced in a numbered open edition. The evening included a panel discussion moderated by the Editor in Chief of Surface Magazine, Dan Rubinstein, followed by a cocktail reception. Check out coverage below, and more here and here.
